Three venues we visited had therapists who applied incorrect pressure — too shallow to be therapeutic, clearly not trained in authentic technique. These scored 65–72 in our database. At that level, you're paying for the ambiance, not the massage.

Practical tips: book weekday mornings for the freshest linen and shortest wait. Avoid Friday evening slots at any mid-range spa in Makati — these are the highest-traffic times and service quality consistently dips. Weekend rates at most venues are ₱200–₱400 higher than weekday rates.
